Stud Service Details
Stud Availability
Available studs: XL American Bullies with proven pedigrees and temperament tested.
Booking: By appointment only. Limited slots each breeding season to ensure health and quality.
Location: Breeding performed at Epic Bullies’ facility or approved recipient owner’s premises with prior arrangement.
Stud Qualifications
Age: Studs are sexually mature and at peak health (typically 2–6 years).
Health testing: Up-to-date vaccinations, parasite control, cardiac, orthopedic (hip/elbow), and ophthalmologic clearances where applicable.
Genetic screening: Breed-appropriate DNA tests and clearances provided (e.g., genetic markers relevant to coat, size, and known breed conditions).
Temperament: Socialized and temperament evaluated around people and other dogs.
Requirements for Mare/Bitch (Dam)
Health: Current vaccinations, parasite control, and general good health.
Reproductive status: Vet-confirmed healthy estrus cycle; no untreated reproductive infections.
Age and condition: Dam should be of appropriate breeding age and physical condition for breeding; Epic Bullies may decline if dam is underweight, obese, or otherwise compromised.
Documentation: Proof of ownership, pedigree, and necessary health records prior to breeding.
Booking Process
Inquiry: Provide dam’s registered name, age, health clearances, and preferred mating window.
Contract: A stud service agreement outlining terms, responsibilities, fees, and liability must be signed by both parties.
Deposit: Non-refundable booking deposit required to reserve stud date; balance due per contract terms.
Timing: Optimal breeding dates coordinated with owner based on progesterone testing or vet recommendation.
Fees and Payment
Stud fee: Fixed fee determined per pairing (fee disclosed in contract).
Collections and shipping: Fresh-chilled semen collection, shipping, and handling charged separately if required.
